Planning
The Hill County Planning Office is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the County's Subdivision Regulations, Zoning Regulations, Growth Policy, the State of Montana Subdivision and Platting Act, Floodplain Regulations, and overall land use management for the County.
Anyone outside the city limits and in the City-County Planning area needs a zoning permit, if they are doing any kind of work.
